Aldborough Community Centre was established in 1976 and registered as Charity No. 268101. The building was previously The Temperance Society and Coffee Hall. It is owned by the Parish Council but run by an elected committee comprising approximately 20 members, representatives of the different clubs/societies/organisations in the parish.
The building boasts a large hall with stage, lounge bar, well-equipped kitchen and it is used for all kinds of activities ranging from pantomimes, a luncheon club, whist drives, dances, discos, computing classes, badminton and private clubs etc. It is also a popular venue for wedding receptions.
The hall is available for hire at competitive rates.
We’d like to remind everyone that the SNOOKER TABLE, BADMINTON NET and TABLE TENNIS TABLE are available for hire, as well as FOLDING TABLES to use off site.
